National Education Technology Standards

  • The National Education Technology Standards for Teachers site has not only the standards for teaching technology in the classroom, but also lesson plans, curriculum help, and articles about new technology in the field.

International Society for Technology in Education

  • The International Society for Technology in Education is a site that contains professional development opportunities, teacher resources, technology news and information as well as articles and newsletters.

Microsoft Templates

  • This Microsoft website has numerous templates for teachers to use such as awards and certificates, calendars, notes and forms for parents, newsletters, and lesson plans. All you have to do is fill in the blanks on the templates, print, and you're ready to go!

Rubistar

  • Through this website, you can create your own rubrics to use for assessment in the classroom. There are also many sample rubrics that you can look at and use for yourself. You can also enter student scores and the website will evaluate the scores for you and give you a score report.

These services are available and make it very easier to communicate anywhere in the world. You can check your email, check your online data calendar, and access all kinds of documents that you can upload simply from your home computer and take anywhere you go. These services makes connecting with others easier, doing everyday job activities, and give a forum to networking in its' greatest form.
    Google offers all different kinds of options for businesses, schools, and organizations.

    Google Aps also has a new feature that lets you turn back the clock on emails you send. Say that you forgot a report due at 3pm, and now at 5:15 you think you are totally screwed! But oh wait, if you have Gmail, apart of Google Aps, you can send that report in on time.
