PDAs
Personal Digital Assistants, otherwise known as PDAs, are becoming a new phenomenon in the classroom. They can help students and teachers do a variety of things. Below is more information on what PDAs are, how to use them in your classroom, and even grant writing tips to get them into your classroom for free.

Interactive Whiteboards
Promethean is a company that makes many educational tools, such as the Whiteboard, ACTIV Slate and Tablet. These are all equipment that can be used in the classroom, and are very beneficial to those students who may have trouble seeing or hearing.

SMART Board
The SMART board is an interactive whiteboard, with a touch-sensitive display screen.  The touch screen helps to engage learners and provides a unique learning experience. The SMART board connects to a computer and combined with a digital projector, allows the user to directly control computer applications, write notes in digital ink, and save work to share later.  Additional features include a highlighting tool and digital ink to text conversion tool.
