(Hint: Check the tuition costs of camps in your local area to help gauge your price). • Prepare staff training sessions. • Create your staff (Examples: Director, Assistant Director, Classroom Teacher, and Councilors). • With professional classroom teachers/administrators create a curriculum for your summer program. • Make arrangements with any special guests/visiting professionals coming to the camp. • Make arrangements for any field trip transportation. • Decide how many students you are going to admit to your summer program. • Send flyers home to parents through local schools in the area in which you live.
