Partners In Learning

Parental Engagement and ELL

In recent years American schools have incorporated large numbers of immigrant children, many of whom are English Language Learners (ELL).  Due to this, parent involvement/engagement could provide a significant source of support for students and teachers.  Unfortunately, parent support can be limited due to barriers in language, which also can hinder support from educators and staff.  This page is intended to be a linking resources to information that can assist both parents/families of ELL students and educators.
