The website also offers research articles and information on the topic, ways to help at-risk-students, and a “Finish Line Calculator” to find information on graduation success in America’s high schools. http://www.polk-fl.net/parents/generalinformation/involvement.htm This page from the Polk County Public School District offers ideas and programs that have been implemented by the school district to get parents more involved in their child’s education. On the site they discuss the Parent Engagement Initiative Program which they have put into place to empower parents to impact student achievement.
