Multiculturalism

Multiculturalism is a integral part of any classroom.  It is important for students to learn and become accepting and respectful of various races, cultures, and religions.  A multicultural classroom works to foster an understanding of differences and build a classroom community that accepts and embraces differences.  Our world is dynamic.  Students need to learn to communicate with people who are different than themselves.  It is our job as teachers to prepare students for a multicultural world by providing them experience in a multicultural classroom.
