The Children’s Schoolhouse is a parent cooperative preschool, and this website was created to explain the philosophy and background of the school.  Schoolhouse parents are welcome in the classroom to help out with daily activities or to share any special talent or interest with the children.  The school also requires all families to take part in a number of activities that are for the good of the entire coop.

This website goes into more detail about the non-profit international council, PCPI, which is dedicated to family and the community.  The website also discusses the positive aspects of cooperative preschools and how to determine if this is the type of preschool you would like to send your child.  The website breaks down the benefits of cooperative preschool for the parents, children, and the community itself.
