The Literacy "Problem"

In this section, we will attempt to describe the problem facing many English teachers today. Students are not reading at the levels they should be. They have problems understanding texts, making meaning, and even choosing books to read. We will attempt to address the solution and provide reading lists for students to use when choosing what to read.
