Dr. Brooks, a professor at Miami University of Ohio, proposed the model's shape and substance in 1999. Lance Bundy, Performance Pyramid's web-manager, is the technical talent behind the development of the site as a web-based tool. The web-site is also supported by Dr. Brooks' Capstone class each semester. The students join the Partners in Learning team to contribute content and continous improvement of the site.
