Casa Notes is designed to allow teachers to quickly make, and customize, typical notes that are sent home to parents or given to the students. This is done by using templates and allowing the teachers to customize some of the content, choose a color scheme and add a graphic. The notes can then be printed on a black-and-white or color printer to be used. Teachers can select whether the notes should be in English or in Spanish.
To help you start using PBL or Project Based Learning, the site has created age-appropriate, customizable project checklists for written reports, multimedia projects, oral presentations, and science projects. The use of these checklists keeps students on track and allows them to take responsibility for their own learning through peer- and self-evaluation.

For Students:
Grammar lessons: Students can access an abundance of information explaining and exemplifying many different grammatical aspects and structures of the English language. This ranges from nouns and verbs to confusing words and adjective clauses, conditional sentences, the past and future tenses, etc.
Idiom collection: Students can research the meanings behind many English expressions that are not literal in their translation (for example, “a piece of cake” or “catch some Z’s”).
Students can also look up a variety of slang words used in English, do pronunciation exercises, and take on-line quizzes relating to grammar and language as well as content-specific material.
