What about school funding?
The United States Consitution does not explicitly state how schools are funded because the framers wanted to leave that responsibility to the states.
In 2001 traditional views on education in government, the No Child Left Behind Act was passed which had a direct effect on education from the federal government.
The No Child Left Behind act states that schools that do not meet the “passing” criteria are held accountable for their results. This could include cutting back resources, funding, or shutting down the school.
