This portion of the website is dedicated to providing resources to create more successful opportunities for ELL students in schools. There are resources for teachers and schools to help aide in working with ELL students in the school and classroom, tools for non-English speaking parents to work with their children at home as well as with the school system, and finally activities and websites aimed at ELL students themselves. Miami University has also paired with The University of Southern Florida to create a program which enhances the preparation of future teachers and higher education faculty who will ultimately work with English Language Learners in mainstream settings. This program, ESOL (English for Speakers of Other Languages), is constantly being developed and integrated into university curriculum.
