  • Individual’s complete control over the layout and design of the overall portfolio.
  • Individual must decide best media and software with which to best present their portfolio.
  • Serious reflection is required by the creator in order to decide the best layout and the best visual presentation of their information and accomplishments.
  • Easier to manage and present a large amount of information, especially artifacts, videos and audio tapes.
  • Various methods of presentation (video, audio, graphic) can be used.
  • Easy to shuffle around or reorganize parts of the portfolio as changes or alterations become necessary.
  • Can be saved on such a small electronic device, not contained in large binders or folders, making it much easier to transport.
